Richard Simpson

Summit Homes Group

Richard is a developer who holds a number of degrees including a Master's in Architecture from UWA where his honours thesis was "Affordable Housing in the Pilbara".

His family owns the Summit Homes Group, which is one of the nations top ten employers.

Richard also has a keen interest in indigenous housing having been a director of the Foundation for Indigenous Sustainable Housing (FISH) for three years and having built experimental housing as a part of his role.

While considering himself a relative newcomer to indigenous issues Richard believes appropriate housing to be a cornerstone of identity and community.
