Professor Phillip Dolan

UWA Business School

Professor Phillip Dolan’s career spans more than three decades working in financial services and academia. As Dean of the UWA Business School, Phillip oversees the management of one of The University of Western Australia’s largest faculties.

Phillip’s previous roles have included Director of the Applied Finance Centre and Head of Department of Applied Finance and Actuarial Studies at Macquarie University; Director, Centre for Studies in Money, Banking and Finance; and senior roles at Macquarie Bank including Associate Director, Research and Development in the Asset Management Division, and Division Director, Investment Research in the Funds Management Division.

Phillip completed his PhD at Stanford University, winning numerous honours and prizes throughout his studies and career.

He is a Senior Fellow, Financial Services Institute of Australasia; Fellow, Australian Institute of Company Directors; Fellow, Australian Institute of Management; and Member, International Association of Financial Engineers. Phillip is also on the Board of St Georges College and the council of Methodist Ladies' College.
