Matthew O’Sullivan is a nationally recognised leader in the field of Vocational Training and Employment for Indigenous Australians.
Under the mentorship of business and philanthropy leader Andrew Forrest, and with the support of many talented people in the team at GenerationOne, Matthew oversaw the Business Development of the Australian Employment Covenant which exceeded its goal of securing the commitment from corporate Australia for over 50,000 jobs for Indigenous Australians. To date over 27,000 jobs have been filled.
More recently, Matthew and the team developed the Vocational Training and Employment Centre (VTEC) model which has been adopted by the Australian Government and has been rolled out in 29 locations across Australia in the last twelve months. This program is training and placing 5,000 disadvantaged Indigenous job seekers into work.
