Clare Sharp

Clare is a director in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet's Economic Policy Branch. Clare is responsible for the development of the Indigenous Business Sector Strategy, a federal government initiative to ensure the Indigenous business sector is able to take advantage of the transitioning economy an the increasing opportunities available to Indigenous businesses.

Prior to holding this role, Clare lead the development of the Commonwealth's Indigenous Procurement Policy. Clare's background is in commercial law, where she specialized in major government purchasing and administrative law.
